Gizzy Laser Half Marathon

with 10k & 5k options

This is the second year of our Gizzy Laser Half Marathon event, sponsored by local business Laser Electrical and Plumbing. Join us for one of 3 distances (5k, 10k or 21k). We start and finish at Matawhero Winery and run the stop bank track along the scenic Waipaoa River! Walkers* and runners welcome! This course is flat and fast so if you're interested in trying for a PB, this is your race!

Cost for 23/23 RunGisborne Members: 21K / 10K / 5k = $30 / $20 / $5

Cost for Non-members: 21K / 10K / 5k = $45 / $25 / $10

Start time: 8:00 am Half Marathon Walkers* | 9:00 am All Others

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: To avoid a queue on race day, we're offering packet pick-up on Friday, 17 November at Neighborhood Pizzeria from 5-7pm. Swing by during this time to collect your race number(s) and T-shirt(s).

50% of proceeds after costs will go to our local Cancer Foundation.

Live music, spotprizes. Prizegiving at 12pm.

* This is not a competitve walking race. Walkers can walk or jog. For this reason, we are unable to issue placings for walkers.
